To make things easier for you here is a printable version that you can take away with you that has more in depth information.

Setting up your online account and Changing your PIN

It's easy to set up your account online, but if you are not confident online (or don't have regular access) let us know when you buy the cards from us and we can set up your account for you.

You do NOT have to set up your online account to use the cards. They are active already, but  it is handy to be able to check your balance and change your PINs.

  1. Login to the Cash Passport Website
  2. Click on Sign Up
  3. Enter the Primary Card number
  4. Enter your mother's maiden name and your birth date
  5. You will now be logged into "My Account"
  6. If you do not see all of your cards, click on the link to register all the cards. You can register cards in multiple currencies on the same account (eg if you have cards for Europe and the UK)
  7. You can change your PIN by Clicking on Change PIN - remember to do this for all your cards. You can have the same PIN for all your cards - in fact we recommend it.
Questions to ask when purchasing your Cash Passport Card

At Travelex in Brookvale and Wollongong we are experts in the Travelex Cash Passport Cards - they are a core product for us, not an add on to other services. Our team is regularly trained in the latest developments with the Cards and we ask our customers about their experience to help our knowledge grow.

Some other companies sell the cards as a peripheral product and as such don't have our depth of knowledge or are not able to give the service that we provide (such as helping you to setup your online account or change your PIN).

If you are offered a Cash Passport (or a similar product) by another company, ask them the following questions and if you aren't satisfied with their response come and see us.

  1. How much commission do you charge?
  2. How easy is the card to reload and how long does it take? Can my friend reload for me?
  3. Can I pay or reload by direct deposit?
  4. Where can I withdraw cash with the card? Can you show me?
  5. Can you set up my PIN number and online account for me?
  6. How does the Global Emergency Assitance work?
  7. How much am I charged when I use the card?

We will happily answer these questions and can help you with anything to do with the card including helping you to set up your online account and changing your PIN number.

ATM Locator

You can use your Cash Passport around the world to withdraw local currency from millions of ATMs. Click here to find the most convenient one for you.

A great idea is to get out your travel itinerary and match off locations with the site. You'll be amazed the places that you can use the card to withdraw cash - especially around Europe and the US.

Please note: There are a number of countries where the use of Cash Passport is not allowed as they are subject to US economic sanctions. If you attempt to withdraw cash or use your card at merchants in these countries, your request will be declined and the reason given as "Declined, prohibited country".

The countries currently affected by sanctions are: Myanmar (Burma), Cuba, Iran and Sudan.
