Benefits of Direct Credit

The benefits of direct credit include less bank fees for yourself and our business, plus it reduces the amount of cash that you have to carry (especially when you are purchasing a Cash Passport Card).

You can pay by Direct Credit to purchase foreign cash and to open a cash passport card.

How long does it take?

If you bank with the NAB (as we do) your funds will arrive on the same business day. If you bank with another bank then the funds will arrive in our bank account on the next working day. It may take an extra day to receive the funds from some credit unions.

Please make sure that you advise us of the amount that you have paid and the reference you have supplied so that our account department can quickly identify your funds. If you bank with the NAB (as we do) the funds will be transferred immediately, funds from other banks normally go through the next morning. It occasionally takes an additional day from some credit unions.

Please note that if you are reloading or opening a Cash Passport Card by Direct Credit we will need to take a copy of your ID. The only exception is if you purchased your card from The Currency Exchange in Brookvale or Wollongong (or when we traded as Travelex between Jan 2006 and October 2010) as we will have this on file.

If you have any questions regarding Direct Credits please contact us in Brookvale or Wollongong.
