Cash Passport Prepaid Currency Card

Travelex Cash Passport Cards

Travelex Cash Passport Cards are pCash Passport Prepaid Currency Cardrepaid travel money cards that are available in 7 currencies. Originally created as a replacement for travellers cheques they are a safe and convenient way to take, and spend, your money overseas.

The cards are designed for use overseas. Two cards are issued so that you are never stuck without access to your funds, plus you can get free replacement cards if your cards are lost or stolen.

By purchasing your card in a foreign currency (eg Euro) you can lock in the current exchange rate and take advantage of good exchange rates when the Aussie Dollar is strong - or know that you won't lose out if the Dollar is falling. The cards are available in US Dollars, Euros, UK Pounds, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars and Singapore Dollars plus Australian Dollars for all other destinations.

Other Key Features

Security

The Cash Passport is not connected to your bank account and is PIN protected (ATM card) or PIN and signature protected (Debit card).

Prepaid Convenience

Withdraw local currency at millions of Visa ATMs worldwide, or pay directly where Visa is accepted.

Reloadable

You can top up the funds on your Cash Passport at any time. The cards last for three years, and remaining funds can be transferred to a new card after that time.

Global Emergency Assistance

Your Cash Passport comes with 24/7 Global Emergency Assistance which provides a range of FREE services including replacement cards and access to emergency cash if your cards are lost or stolen, interpreter services, send a message home and help finding legal or medical support.

Card Types

There are two types of card the ATM card which is only for withdrawing funds from ATM machines and the Debit card which is for making purchases in shops and for ATM withdrawals.

Which card you take will depend on your indivdual requirements. Most people are now taking the Debit card as it gives them more freedom, helps to reduce their costs and is able to be used in even more locations.

The ATM only card does, however, have slightly higher security as it doesn't have a signature strip. Please note that at this stage the Hong Kong and Singapore Dollar cards are only available in the ATM only format.

We are happy to discuss which card would be best for you, or answer any questions that you have about the Travelex Cash Passport card. Here are the contact details for our Brookvale and Wollongong stores.

  2. Click on Sign Up
  3. Enter the Primary Card number

  6. If you do not see all of your cards click on the link to register them. you can register cards in multiple currencies on the same page (eg if you have cards for Europe and the UK)
  7. You can change your PIN by Clicking on Change PIN - remember to do this for all your cards. You can have the same PIN for all your cards - in fact we recommend it.
